Call for proposals (30 Aug): CLIL, Learning technologies, Innovation (20 Nov 2019, Viterbo, Italy)
This CLIL-ReN symposium will engage with issues around “CLIL, Learning technologies, Innovation”. This could include, for example, research focused on CLIL with the use of innovative techniques, webtools, multimedia, or the teaching and learning of content in heterogenous linguistic settings. Proposals that include attention to digital technologies within such contexts are especially welcome. Possible sub-topics include:
- CLIL and learning technologies
- CLIL and innovation
- Innovative solutions for Continuous Professional Development in CLIL
- CLIL MOOCs
- CLIL materials, digital resources, webtools and websites
- Task-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Phenomenon-Based Learning in CLIL
- CLIL and digital literacy
The symposium will comprise presentations of approximately 20 min, followed by discussion of implications for how our research network can continue to move forward building this work.
Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of relevance to the symposium theme, details of the data used and/or theoretical framing, relevance for the expected target audience.
Deadline for abstract submission: 30th August, 2019
Decisions will be made by 30th September, 2019.
